I’m Daniel. Nice to meet you.
I’m a developer based in Lubbock, Texas. I build websites and web apps for businesses. Mostly local ones, and mostly people who’ve been burned before by someone who disappeared halfway through.
I got into this because I liked figuring out how things work. I stayed in it because I like the moment a business owner sees their new site for the first time and realizes it actually looks like the company they’ve been building for fifteen years.
These days I split my time between contract engineering work and a small number of client projects. I keep the client list short on purpose, because it’s the only way to actually answer the phone when you call.

Four things you can count on
I'd rather tell you no
If what you need isn't something I'd do well, I'll say so on the first call and point you somewhere better. A bad fit wastes your money and my time.
Plain language, always
You shouldn't need a technical background to understand what you're paying for. If I ever say something that doesn't make sense, stop me and I'll say it differently.
It should still work in two years
Anyone can put a site up. I build things that don't quietly fall apart the moment nobody's looking at them.
Your business, your call
I'll tell you what I'd recommend and why. But it's your business and your money, so you make the final decision, not me.
